About the Program:
St. John Parish Parks & Recreation's youth baseball and softball program gives boys and girls ages 5–14 an opportunity to learn fundamental skills, stay active and experience the value of teamwork and sportsmanship. With support from volunteer coaches, players can develop their abilities, build confidence and enjoy friendly competition in a positive and encouraging environment.
Throughout the season, games are scheduled as part of the recreational league. Select players may also have the opportunity to participate on All-Star teams and compete at the national level. Players can also take part in the annual MLB Pitch, Hit & Run Skills Competition.
Registration Information:
Youth baseball and softball registration is offered February through April, with the season primarily taking place May through July. Additional registration and season details will be announced as they become available.
